Integration engineers are IT professionals who help organizations prepare, implement, and verify the configuration of network nodes so that systems work together as intended. Often, firms need people who have skills to get products from different vendors talking to each other.Integration Engineer - Ericsson
Integration engineers help IT telecoms companies bring together disparate systems and integrate them into a functioning whole. An integration engineer, for instance, might be tasked with getting a piece of software from one vendor to speak efficiently with a solution from another vendor.

  • Organizations expect integration engineers to have a range of qualifications and experience. Most firms want integration engineers to have an academic degree at the bachelor's level in engineering or a related field, particularly in the IT and telecoms industry.
Firms also want integration engineers who have three to five years of experience in deploying systems tests as part of a lead-testing team. Additional requirements may include things like experience in radio access networks, the ability to research solutions to new problems, good planning and organization skills, and creativity when solving problems.Integration Engineer - Ericsson
